Mauritius Makes History at the Emirates NBD CEO Masters Dubai
Mauritius has firmly announced its arrival on the global executive golf stage with an exceptional performance at the Emirates NBD CEO Masters Dubai, held on 9 January at The Montgomerie Golf Club, Dubai. In a field comprising senior executives and business leaders from across the region, the Mauritian contingent delivered a result that will be remembered as a defining milestone for CEO Masters Mauritius.
A Landmark Victory for Team Mauritius
Leading the celebrations, Christophe Ramdiane and Anthony Leung Shing claimed 1st place overall, securing a prestigious victory against strong international competition. The success was further amplified by Lawrence Boodhoo, who partnered with Jouad Makhlouf (Morocco) to achieve an impressive 2nd place finish.
As the Mauritian flag was raised on the podium, the moment symbolised far more than a sporting win — it represented Mauritius’ growing presence, credibility, and competitiveness within the global CEO Masters ecosystem.
From a First Edition in Mauritius to the Dubai Podium
This achievement follows the highly successful Spoon Consulting CEO Masters Mauritius 2025, powered by Redlac Real Estate LLC. The inaugural Mauritian edition brought together C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers for a unique blend of competitive golf and high-level networking.
From that first edition, four players were selected to represent Mauritius at the Dubai Grand Final. Returning home with both 1st and 2nd place finishes in the very first year of participation underscores the strength of the Mauritian delegation and the solid foundations laid by CEO Masters Mauritius.
Strong Mauritian Brand Presence in Dubai
Beyond the leaderboard, Mauritius was also strongly represented through its corporate partners. Redlac Real Estate LLC and Finsburey Management Services Ltd both sponsored and activated individual holes at the Emirates NBD CEO Masters Dubai, reinforcing Mauritian business visibility on an international stage and aligning sport with strategic networking.
A Vision Realised
Reflecting on the achievement, Shelendre Appanah, owner of the CEO Masters Mauritius franchise, described the victory as:
“The perfect culmination of an outstanding first CEO Masters in Mauritius. To qualify, compete, and return as winners in Dubai validates the vision behind bringing CEO Masters to the island. This is only the beginning of what Mauritius can achieve on the global stage.”
Looking Ahead
The results at the Emirates NBD CEO Masters Dubai mark a major step forward for CEO Masters Mauritius. What began as a bold initiative in 2025 has quickly evolved into an internationally recognised platform combining executive sport, business leadership, and meaningful connections.
With momentum firmly on its side, CEO Masters Mauritius now looks ahead to future editions with confidence, ambition, and a clear objective: to continue flying the Mauritian flag high on the world stage
